Cobb Probate Attorney

Probate law largely involves the preparation of Wills and other estate planning documents, making a change to a Last Will and Testament or the service of an Executor or Administrator of an Estate, guardian and conservatorships, or filing the estate of a deceased loved one for probate.  Some situations involve individuals who face difficult decisions concerning the short and long term care of a family member.  In the best case scenario, family members are on the same page and jointly seeking help in the process of having someone appointed to look out for the finances (called a conservator) and welfare (called a guardian) of a parent, sibling, child or relative (called a ward).  In other situations, the family may disagree on if a guardian and/or conservator are necessary or who the guardian and conservator should be.  These cases can be hard on a family and involve conflicting opinions about who is best able to provide care.  In severe cases, the situation could even involve allegations of abuse, fraud and mismanagement of the ward and their property. O’Dell, O’Neal, Hungerford, and Blanchard Attorneys are able to provide services and assistance throughout the probate area of law. Our goal is to make sure our clients have peace of mind knowing that their matters and families are protected.
